HIGH-TECC 2007: The Program
An information and solutions packed Program . . .

We specifically design our program to offer you real world solutions that will help you understand technology trends so you can stay ahead of the technology curve. These programs are presented by a variety of industry experts who are actively creating new solutions that will impact how you interact with your clients and other business partners in an On Demand future. Here are just some of the topics we will be covering at this year’s HIGH-TECC Camp.

Opening Session: Roadmap to the Generations -- Plotting Your Path Through the Millenial Minefields
Paul McCartney may have done well with "Yesterday," but if you want to build an agency with a future, better you should follow Fleetwood Mac’s advice and "Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow." And tomorrow for independent insurance agencies looks a lot like Generation X and the Millennials. Learn answers to questions such as: Who are these young folks, and why are they such a “goldmine”? How's a poor Boomer to cope, much less adjust and profit? How is an Xer supposed to simultaneously manage Boomers and Millennials without running the agency into a ditch? Why should agencies begin actively recruiting talented Xers and Millennials to join their staff, and/or start paying more attention to those already on their team? Chris Amhrein will give you a broader vision of your agency’s future, specifics about next steps, and you'll learn how to get your copy of the latest IIABA National Young Agent Committee sales tool, "Beyond the Boomers: Targeting the Incoming Generations."

e-Servicing the Generations
You've heard of or experienced the multiple generations in the workplace. Well, there are also multiple generations that are your clients, and sometimes the various generations don't communicate well. How do you deal with having a boomer service a millennial's account without the boomer acting like their grandparent? We will explore education and training resources, how you monitor client e-servicing and how to determine which types of clients you have and how they want to communicate with your agency. There will be situations presented and role playing of attendees to resolve the situations.

Getting Personal in a Digital World
With all of the electronic communication going on, how in the world do you build personal relationships with prospects and clients? This session will help you understand the tools that are available to you that can help build lasting relationships.

Re-creating Your Web Site
The time is well past due for agents to really use their Web site as an integral part of their overall marketing strategy. You will look at the current state of the situation today with agency Web sites. Then you will learn what you need to do to create your “electronic front door.” Once you have a functioning Web site you will then learn what you can do to organically grow your Web presence. Specific examples will be provided so you can emulate the best.

Search Engine Marketing: How Insurance Agents Can Take Advantage
The Web is the fastest growing resource for both consumers and business owners. Learn why traditional marketing is giving way to new techniques like search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising -- and why you'd be wise to jump on the Internet bandwagon.

Marketing to Generation X and the Millennials: What You Need to Know
This isn’t your daddy’s marketing anymore. Successful agencies have relied upon the tried and true marketing techniques that have worked quite well up to now. But what will you have to do to continue to be successful? How do you attract and retain clients who rely on the Internet for everything? How do you find them? How do you get them to listen to you? And how do you keep them?

Agency Management & Document Management Vendor Panels
This will be your chance to hear what you need to plan for during the coming years directly from the vendors. Both agency management and document management systems are vital to successful agencies. These vendors will share what they see as their major challenges moving forward, the trends they think agents need to prepare for, and how they are helping agents meet these challenges. Time will be available for you to ask your own questions in a no-holds-barred format.

Plus… you will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face and participate with industry leaders and representatives from groups such as IVANS, ACORD, IIAA, and others. They come to HIGH-TECC and participate in the program like everybody else. You will exchange ideas and insights, and together work toward creating effective solutions.
